YEAH! is honored to be featured in a new bonus episode of The Bobby Bones Show, released March 9th via iHeartRadio, which spotlights the transformative impact of music education and the power of community partnerships.

In the episode, hosts Bobby Bones and Eddie Garcia take listeners behind the scenes of recent instrument drop‑offs made possible through Hyundai’s support of YEAH!’s programs. The segment includes an in‑depth conversation with YEAH! Executive Director Mariela Moscoso, who shares how access to instruments and creative learning opportunities helps young people build confidence, community, and lifelong skills.

“Without support from Hyundai, we would not be able to sustain our operating expenses,” said Moscoso. “It allows us to sustain the people that work with us so that they can continue providing the programs that we have.”

The episode also features a special check‑in from Find Your Light Foundation founder and musician Josh Groban, along with reflections from Bobby and Eddie on the role music plays in shaping young lives.

YEAH! is honored to be a recipient of a 2026 Artist Gives grant from Newport Festivals Foundation. Through the Artist Gives program, every artist performing at the Newport Folk and Jazz Festivals is invited to direct a grant to a music education nonprofit they believe in.

On behalf of Hayley Williams, Newport Festivals Foundation has awarded YEAH! a grant of $2000 to support our music camp, operating expenses, and scholarships for young artists.

Prepare for the ultimate summer music experience this June at Nashville Prep! YEAH! Rocks Music Camp is our high-energy, music-fueled day camp for youth ages 6 to 17, designed for both newcomers to music and established music-players and we want YOUR youth to join the band! Throughout the week, campers will learn to play instruments, form bands, write original songs, and collaborate with peers, all while building confidence and creativity. The week wraps up with an unforgettable end-of-camp showcase, where campers will take the stage and perform at Nashville's awesome music venue Eastside Bowl!But camp is about way more than just rehearsals! Campers will experience live performances from local music artists, take part in Q&A sessions and panels with industry pros, and dive into hands-on workshops like songwriting, beat-making, stage presence, stage presence & music production.PLUS some new additions this year:

Clear Some Space and Support Young Musicians!

It’s back! Jack’s Guitarcheology is hosting their 2nd Annual Holiday Guitar Drive, and this year we’re looking for instruments, small amps, pedals, or parts in any condition now through January 10th. Professional volunteers will restore donated items for use in our programs or to be sold with proceeds benefitting YEAH!.

Got extra gear sitting in your garage, attic, or practice space? Now’s the perfect time to donate and make a difference in the lives of young musicians. Every contribution helps provide instruments, lessons, and opportunities for youth to learn, create, and perform.

Music Valley Archive, a Nashville-based design group celebrating the city’s creative legacy, has teamed up with Grammy-winning artist Hayley Williams to release a special line of merchandise in conjunction with the physical release of her new solo album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.

Hayley’s share of proceeds from this limited-edition drop will directly benefit YEAH!

YEAH! has officially kicked off its annual Fall Fundraiser, running now through October 18! This year’s celebration features an online auction packed with rare and exclusive music memorabilia, along with two special live events that highlight the power of youth voice, creativity, and community.

We’re excited to share that YEAH will be participating in the Nashville Adolescent Symposium this coming week! This annual event brings together local experts and organizations to explore the challenges and opportunities facing young people today, with sessions on mental health, education, and fostering growth and success in adolescents.

YEAH will have a booth at the symposium where we’ll host interactive activities and share more about our programs with Nashville-area educators. We’re proud to be part of this important conversation and to highlight the role of music and creative expression in empowering youth.

This past weekend, our talented YEAH! youth alumni brought their music to one of Nashville’s most exclusive gigs: the Nashville Fair!

Aleanah!, X-Tongue, and Ostinato each performed three sets throughout the day, sharing their original music, some very fun cover songs, and contagious energy with the community. X-Tongue even debuted their brand-new original song, “Fairground in the Mind,” written at our Rock Block program especially for the event. It was an unforgettable day of music, growth, and joy. And just to prove that our youth have talents beyond the stage, Axel even took home the trophy in the ice cream eating contest!

Opportunities like this give our young people the chance to build confidence, showcase their creativity, and shine in front of new audiences. We’re so proud of them and grateful for the community that makes these experiences possible. Super big thank you to The Nashville Fair for inviting YEAH! youth to perform!

We are gearing up for an exciting season ahead full of music, creativity, and community! Here's where you can find us this fall:

We were thrilled to participate in this summer’s Teens Take the Frist event at The Frist Art Museum - a dynamic celebration of youth creativity, storytelling, and community connection. The event brought together young artists from across Nashville to share their voices through poetry, music, film, and visual art, and YEAH! was proud to be represented by three of our incredible program alumni.

In this month’s YEAH! updates, you’ll find Rock Block fall registration, auditions for LOVE UNITED, a 5-day #YEAHChallenge to boost wellness, and spotlights on youth voices like our volunteer’s new single “Pride”. Each story and opportunity shows how collective action and generosity transform lives through song.

We are thrilled to announce that YEAH! has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Genesis Inspiration Foundation. The award is part of the foundation’s bold $3 million investment in over 70 youth arts organizations nationwide in 2025. 

A check presentation and community celebration will take place on Tuesday, August 12, at 4:15 PM at The Forge, another Genesis Inspiration Foundation grant recipient dedicated to providing pathways for artists and makers to learn, create, and thrive in community. Welcoming everyone from beginners to entrepreneurs, woodworkers to welders, The Forge mirrors YEAH!’s mission of collaboration, education, and outreach.

At YEAH! Rocks Music Camp 2025, young people raised their voices and made community connections through guitar riffs, original music, fearless drumming, and conversations that mattered. They grew louder, bolder, and more connected. And they reminded us all: youth artistry is not just the future. It’s right now.

We’re beyond thrilled to announce that our very own YEAH! youth band Forget Me Nots will be opening for Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit at the Ryman Auditorium on October 17, 2025 as part of the band’s 10th annual residency in Nashville!

Yet, too often, the arts are treated as an “extra,”— a luxury rather than a foundation. But music shapes creativity, strengthens bonds, and amplifies voices that need to be heard. YEAH! program participants prove that when young artists create, they transform - not just their lives, but the world around them. 

Youth voices don’t just spark revolutions— they help us to see the world more clearly. When young people speak,  they remind us what truth, courage, and possibility really sound like. 

We’ve seen firsthand how music empowers youth to find their voice, their purpose, and their people. At YEAH!, we’re creating space for connection, confidence, and courage to express oneself authentically. At YEAH!, kids don’t just make music - they make meaning! We’re calling on our community to help keep the space to make this happen alive! The AMP UP YEAH! Pledge Drive runs from April 1-7, intending to raise funds to sustain our programs, expand our reach, and ensure every young musician has access to the resources they need - regardless of financial barriers. This spring, we aim to gain 100 new $10 monthly donors to support our mission.
