We are still reliving the creativity, collaboration and bravery that campers rocked all week. Big shoutout to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for helping to supply our recording class with equipment thanks to The Wish List, a new pilot opportunity open to current Community Impact nonprofit grantee partners. The YEAH! Youth Open Mic at Crossroads Cat Cafe
YEAH! is thrilled to announce our monthly Youth Open Mic event at Crossroads Cat Cafe on the third Sunday of each month, kicking off on August 16th! Join us for some yummy snacks and beverages in the cafe, enjoy the view of cuddly cats, and hear original music from Nashville youth. Musicians ages 20 and under are invited to perform. Is your kid looking for more opportunities to rock? Sign up to perform at the YEAH! Local Legends Tour. We have opportunities for YEAH! youth alumni to perform at awesome community locations and events! Please complete this form to let us know if your youth is interested in performing, with or without their camp band.

As we close out our fiscal year, we’re celebrating everything this community made possible. Because of you, young people across Nashville got to create, perform, and grow through music all year long.
In fiscal year 2026, we served 117 youth, with 69% of them returning for more music making. You helped award 114 scholarships and supported 45 teaching artists. Our young musicians formed 32 bands, wrote 32 original songs, and performed 67 songs on 16 stages at 13 venues.
If you want to help us keep this energy going, a gift before June 30 makes a real difference. We’re grateful for every person who believes in youth creativity.
