YEAH! Youth Performers Take the Stage at Nashville Soccer Club’s Kids Night
A new Local Legends Tour stop brings young Nashville musicians to GEODIS Park
Every young person deserves access to quality music education. Every young musician deserves a real stage, not just a rehearsal room. That belief drives YEAH!, and is why our organization is proud to announce that youth program alumni will perform at Nashville Soccer Club’s Kids Night, presented by Vanderbilt Health, on Saturday, August 29 at GEODIS Park, when Nashville SC takes on FC Cincinnati.
The performances are the newest stop on the YEAH! Local Legends Tour, an initiative that brings young musicians into community spaces across Nashville after their program ends. The Tour is open to alumni across YEAH! programs, giving them an additional place to develop confidence, leadership, and artistic identity after their program ends.
In FY26, 82% of youth in YEAH! programs reported increased confidence through hands‑on music making with peers, built through opportunities like YEAH! Rocks Music camp in the summer and Rock Block programs during the year. The Local Legends Tour helps make this growth possible.
In just over a year, the Tour has already brought performances to the Ryman Auditorium, The Frist Art Museum, and the Nashville Fair. YEAH! is thrilled to welcome Nashville Soccer Club to the list of partners investing in youth creativity.
During Kids Night, YEAH! alumni will perform original and cover songs inside two premium clubs at GEODIS Park. In the Captain’s Club, Kyu will perform a solo acoustic set featuring vocals and ukulele for more than 250 premium ticket holders. In the WeHo Club, the youth band ForgetMeNots will perform as acoustic duos and trios, showcasing guitar, bass, percussion, and vocals for an audience of more than 600 attendees. Both performances will take place for an hour before kick off.
Bunny Nunn, Director of Programs and Communications at YEAH!, shared her excitement about the partnership. “The Nashville Soccer Club has been on our dream wishlist of stages for our Local Legends Tour to perform on, and I'm so excited it's finally happening. Giving young people a real community stage to share their art is so important. Watching them grow into more confident, empowered individuals because of it means everything. Thank you NSC for helping us create that space.”
